Amy Carter, who is a Thunder Superleague training partner, has been chosen as one of the reserve players for the tournament.
Thunder coach Karen Greig said: “I’m really proud of Amy and Gabs, having worked with both since they were 13.
“They have always showed willingness to learn and great commitment to get what they have been striving for.
They have both stepped up in VNSL this season and this is a great reward for them.”
She added: “I’m gutted that she has just missed out on the 12 but to be a reserve player is a great achievement. She has been on the wrong side of selection at times in the past and always come out fighting the other end to show she is top player.”
Marshall, who has also been named as vice-captain, and Clinton join 10 other athletes in the squad for the tournament, which runs every four years.
New Zealand are the reigning champions, after beating Australia in the final, in Glasgow in 2013. The young Roses missed out on a medal last time, as Jamaica pipped them to third. England will face Fiji Trinidad and Tobago, Wales and Grenada in Pool D.
The Netball WYC takes place over nine days for players aged 21 and under.
