Kathryn Turner will return to Manchester Thunder for a tenth season.
The goal attack, who first joined Thunder in her early teens, has signed up for the 2019 Superleague season, signalling a decade at the top level of domestic netball in the UK.
The Liverpudlian, 25, joins already-announced Ellie Cardwell in the shooting circle, who also rose through the youth ranks with the Black and Yellows.
It’s been a colourful career in the Thunder dress for Turner, and she is ready to challenge for the Superleague title once again, which would be her third with the team.
Kathryn said: “I’m really looking forward to my tenth season at Thunder and seeing all the fans at Belle Vue.
“Let’s make it another great year.”
Turner has enjoyed a stellar couple of seasons with Thunder and has been named in the Superleague All-Star team of the Season for the last two years.
Thunder managing director Debbie Hallas is delighted to have such an experienced shooter back on board for another season.
“It’s so vital to have someone of Kathryn’s quality in the squad, ” Debbie said.
“She is one of our most consistent performers season after season.
“It’s amazing to think this will be her tenth season with us, and she keeps on getting better every year.”
