A win against Mavericks on Monday was a great end to the regular league fixtures, seeing us finish top of the table and providing us with the opportunity to keep up momentum going into our home semi final against Team Bath on Saturday 30 April at 16.00.
Training has continued to be intensive and the squad is mentally and physically well prepared. Our captain, Sara Bayman, has called for the semi final to be approached as a normal game and, with her leadership, we will be looking to do the basics right and put out a cool, calm, performance to earn us a place in the Final.
Sara has been nominated for VNSL player of the year and there is nobody more deserving, please make sure you vote for her here!!!
Tickets have flown out for the match on Saturday and we are sure the Thunderdome will be bouncing, as the loudest crowd in superleague get behind us. We know we can depend on your support and in return you can depend on us to give it our very best …nothing will be left out on court, that’s for sure!!
Thanks again for your continued support.
