“The first game we played against Severn Stars was a really well contested game. Obviously they’re sat in the top four spot and really pushing to break one of the top teams down, so I know that Jo will definitely have done her homework on us and looked to of right the wrongs that they did from the first time that they played us. They are a solid, well structured team both in attack and defence and they are really hard to gain possession off.”
“With Sigi burger being their main target shooter, if we want to win this game we are going to have to ensure that we break the connection between Jess Shaw and Sigi burger. We know that they’ve got options in their defence unit that could potentially combat any option that we throw out in attack, so we are going to have to make sure that we are putting together four solid 15 minute quarters, we’re playing with consistency and we are taking any turnovers to goal and really cherishing possession.”

Player(s) To Watch:
Sigi burger in the shooter position is a player to watch for Stars. She’s got a really high shooting load and is up there in the top 10 shooters in the league.
One, two, into you ↪️@SevernStars creating those textbook style passages of play from centre pass is just what we love to see 🫶#NSL2024 | #SeeUsNow pic.twitter.com/ZcfD5lYcVm

In centre court, Gabby Marshall is dangerous both in attack and defence. She really controls the tone of what they are able to put out on the court.
