Thunder’s Sara Bayman and Helen Housby have been selected in the England long squad for the World Cup.
Black and Yellows captain Bayman and young shooter Housby join 17 others in Tracey Neville’s initial squad for this summer’s tournament in Sydney. Centre-courter Laura Malcolm, who featured in the series whitewash win over Trinidad and Tobago and England’s victorious Netball Europe competition recently, has made herself unavailable for selection. England interim coach Neville faces some tough decisions in whittling down this squad to the 12 she will take to the World Cup in August, which is announced at the end of June.
