On Sunday we streamed the Manchester Thunder end of season awards 2021 on our Youtube channel.
As Debbie Hallas said, “Today we’re doing it a little bit differently, as we’ve had to do all season, and what a season it has been. With the 2020 season coming to a premature end, it was a relief all round to finally get the 2021 season underway in February. Across 2 central venues – Production Studios in Wakefield and the Copperbox, with over 1,500 COVID tests, 112 out of 114 games were played across the Superleague. A huge achievement in a very challenging year. A great testament to all of the players and coaching staff involved to help getting our league going.”
She continued, “We must also extend our thank you to the Vitality Netball Superleague and all of their staff for all of their hard work in making this happen. As a league we took production to another level, and in partnership with Sky Sports we were able to show every single game live to our fans around the World. So here at Manchester Thunder we are celebrating our season and the achievements of all of our players.”
