Dear Thunder Family,
You will be aware that the Vitality Netball Superleague Board announced the postponement of all fixtures on Sunday. Today, a further meeting was held and it has been decided the suspension of the league will last until 30 April when the latest situation will be assessed. You can read the full statement on the Superleague website >>
Given this announcement, and the decision from England Netball to also advise that all organised netball activities be suspended, we wanted to update you on our position:
Superleague Matches
Clearly, the decision means our next fixtures will not take place as planned. Ticket sales have been suspended and please do not travel to Belle Vue if you have tickets.
Tickets purchased for games that have been postponed will be valid for the rearranged fixtures.
When that new date is confirmed, if you cannot attend you will be asked to return your tickets and will receive a full refund – your ticket issuer will handle this process, either Ticketline for all tickets purchased online, or ourselves if purchased directly from us. Details on this will be confirmed at the time.
Please see all our existing ticketing terms and conditions here >>
Rumble with Thunder
We have stopped all bookings for our Rumble with Thunder sessions. If you have booked onto a session for a fixture which has been postponed, it will not take place.
We will process refunds for those Rumbles before 30 April automatically in the next few days and the booking fee will be refunded to you in the same way you made payment (either via Paypal or debit/credit card).
Thunder Camps
England Netball’s decision to suspend all netball activities means that our Easter Thunder Camps will not take place.
We will process refunds for these automatically in the next few days and the booking fee will be refunded to you in the same way you made payment.
Thunder Tournaments
No-one can know how long the current situation will last. We hope that our Thunder Tournaments may be able to go ahead on 9th and 10th May but that will clearly depend on guidance at that point. We will keep you updated.
Coaching & Training
Superleague and Pathway Coaching is currently suspended. If you are involved in these, you will have been contacted directly by your coaches.
These are difficult times for us all and there are no easy decisions. We have taken the decisions we have with just one priority – your health and welfare, alongside that of our squad members, staff, volunteers and other spectators. We’re sure you understand.

All the information we have at this stage is communicated above so, unless you have an urgent question that is not answered, we ask that you do not contact us at this busy time as we will only direct you to the information in this statement.
We will, of course, keep-in-touch with you as more details emerge.
Thank you for your understanding and we send best wishes to you, your family and friends.
