
Thunder Community Programmer
Manchester Thunder is looking to recruit a dynamic, motivated individual with leadership qualities, a strong work ethic, passion for the game and experience of working in Netball community programme to help us deliver on our vision, mission and objectives.
These are exciting times for our sport, with the start of NSL 2.0 fast approaching, this is an exciting opportunity to develop links in the community across the whole of the Northwest region. We are seeking an outstanding individual to support our ambitious aims. The development of our community programme is integral in the development of our brand to ensure we are successful in creating a franchise that will lead the way in the new NSL era both on and off the court.

Job Summary
The Community programmer will work as part of the Manchester Thunder team to develop or community programme across the whole of the Northwest Region specifically targeting the development of our Hive, Schools and clubs programmes. Engaging netballers and driving the visibility of our club, working closely with England Netball and the netball community.
Key Activities
Programme:
Programme manage and develop Hives across the North west ensuring they are being run efficiently in all 5 counties a minimum of 4 terms per year.
Engaging coaches to lead on our hive programmes.
Engaging with Super League athletes, NXT Gen athletes and pathway coaches to deliver coaching sessions across the school and club network.
Connecting community programmes to NSL fixtures to maximise outreach and ticket sales.
Working with peers to ensure the whole community programme is delivered and managed successfully.
Provide an outstanding customer service.
Work with regional / county netball programmes to maximise outreach.
Managing Relationships:
Liaise with a wide range of stakeholders, including players, coaches, volunteers and administrators.
Engage in productive and cooperative working relationships with England Netball.
Management of Coaches to ensure a successful programme is delivered.
Support Manchester Thunder staff across whole franchise activity.
Other:
Attend bi-weekly staff meetings in person.
Attend meetings with stakeholders where necessary.
Report back monthly on all programmes; financially and KPIs.
Liaise with England Netball programmes to ensure connected delivery across NSL 2:0 KPIs.

Special Conditions:
Please note that a proportion of work will take place outside of normal working hours.
Travel is essential.
Current Driving License is desired.
A DBS check is required for the role.
