Supporters at Sunday’s World Cup warm-up between the Australian Diamonds and Manchester Thunder will get a chance to see some special additions to the Thunder side.
The Australian Diamonds four training partners will be available for Karen Greig to call on to boost the Superleague Champions.
Tegan Philip (GA/GS), Kate Moloney (C/WA), Gabi Simpson (WD/C) and Emily Mannix (GK/GD) will be looking to gain valuable court time ahead of the start of the World Cup in Liverpool so they are ready should they be called upon during the tournament.
Thunder will, of course, be without Caroline O’Hanlon and Joyce Mvula who are in World Cup preparations with Northern Ireland and Malawi. But, fans will be able to see many regulars in action alongside the Australian Diamonds training partners.
Tickets are still available for the game at Belle Vue on Sunday (first centre pass 1.30pm). They’re available at .
